A day full of goodies

Today Jaiden received a handful of goodies. Our cousin who just came back from their holiday to Philippines last week is sleeping over tonight and with him, he brought what he bought Jaiden which was a basketball jersey and shirts for Jeremy. Jaiden looked super cute with his jersey on but it's still a little big for him since it's a size 'L' lol, though the shirt fits good for him.

We also checked our mail and there we got our Yo Gabba Gabba concert tickets for their Sydney show in early June. And just in time for the concert, we got Jaiden some Brobee (Yo Gabba Gabba character) vans that were on sale yesterday. Now he has something to flash around the day of the concert. I can't wait for the day to come for when we take him. I keep wondering if he'll be happy/excited or scared because the characters are actually going to be live and a lot bigger than on the TV screen haha. We'll just have to wait and see!

Rio

Today Jeremy and I took Jaiden and my god-daughter Aurora to watch the movie Rio. Though Jaiden got a little bored of it in towards the middle to end and fell asleep just before it finished, Aurora on the other hand, stayed awake for the whole thing unlike last time when we went to watch Tangled

They both enjoyed the chicken nuggets we got them and some apple juice, but without realising it, Jeremy ended up eating all of the nuggets lol. What a silly guy. But it was okay because the kids weren't too fussy about it.

When Jaiden got restless of the movie, all he wanted to do was play with Aurora but she was too busy watching the movie, so Jaiden would just tickle her legs/feet lol. Since she didn't want to play with him, he also occupied himself by taking steps and watching the lights go off - they go off each time he takes a step. He got a little jealous with Aurora too because she was sitting next to me so Jaiden kept going over her to get to me and eventually slept while I was hugging him.

Here are some photos from today.

Easter Long Weekend

Happy Easter Everyone!

For the long weekend, we didn't do much but just have a relaxing one. As a Christian, I believe that we shouldn't be out partying during Holy week because it's one of the most important aspects to being a Christian, to reflect on what Jesus has done for us all. And out of all days to reflect, I think that the three days (Good Friday-Easter Sunday especially) are the most important ones. I just don't get the people out there that say they're 'religious' but just see this weekend as a 'long weekend holiday' and nothing more until they have to go to church on Easter Sunday. I'm in no position to start arguing but to just put my opinion out there as to why we didn't do anything extravagant.

But anyway, Jeremy and I just had a movie date on Friday night, on Saturday we had a bbq with Jeremy's side of the family including our Aunt and Uncle from Canberra. We had quite the feast that day, I made my Oreo Cheesecake Cupcakes once again and our Aunty liked it so much she asked me fort he recipe.. I've got to email that to her before I forget. You can find the recipe here. And today, Sunday, we've got nothing planned but to just clean up a little around the house and attend mass later this afternoon.

Here are some photos of Jaiden showing us all the stages of how to eat whipped cream and the stages of how to get comfortable when on the iPhone.

I hope everyone had/will have a lovely Easter!

interview and city

Today, I had a job interview for a Sales Consultant role in the CBD which I was fortunate to have an opportunity to attend through a friends mum who passed mine and a few more other peoples CV's forward. Unfortunately I didn't get accepted because there were more people there who had more experience in the industry than I did, which I didn't have any experience in lol. But I wasn't too fussed since it was just an opportunity that just raised and I just took it and gave it a go :)

During my interview, Jeremy and Jaiden had their own little bonding time and said they had Maccas, walked around the shops and around Hyde Park and let Jaiden run around and they were feeding the birds. When I heard all this, it made me melt a little inside knowing what they did.. I just pictured them being in their own little world together. And since I couldn't be there to capture their moments, I got Jeremy to take photos of Jaiden and they were absolutely cute! Jeremy was telling me that when they were feeding the birds, Jaiden had a biscuit in his hand and an Ibis came and stole it off him then Jaiden kicked it hahaha. I couldn't stop laughing when I heard that!

Afterwards when I met up with them, I initially wanted to go to Westfields and try to shop around and look at Gap and possibly Zara which opened today but knowing Jeremy, he never wants to go shopping, especially in the city and while we have Jaiden lol. So we just settled to walking to a Korean BBQ place where we ate before and have lunch there. It was just aswell that we didn't go to Zara because the line was long even at 3:30pm when I saw someones Facebook photo upload at that time lol.

Here are a few photos from today :)

my favourite girls

Girls night out with my favourites Kaecee (my fellow mummy), Stacee and Jess. It was the first time having a 'girls night out' with Kaecee :) I always have the best times with these girls, that's why they're my favourites ♥
